Review condition
Visible damage, roof age and prior repairs help guide the initial evaluation.
Shingle roofing
Evaluate the complete shingle roof system, from decking and underlayment to flashing and ventilation.
A shingle roof estimate should reflect the roof dimensions, slope, existing layers, deck condition and details at walls and penetrations. DURION evaluates repair options and replacement scope based on the actual conditions.
Replacement planning addresses tear-off, disposal, deck repairs when needed, underlayment, approved shingles, flashing and permit requirements. Material selection and installation details must suit the building, manufacturer instructions and applicable Florida requirements.

Roof planning
Visible damage, roof age and prior repairs help guide the initial evaluation.
Compare the specified system and written inclusions, including allowances for concealed deck damage.
Discuss property protection, deliveries, work access and cleanup before installation.
Homeowner program resource
Ask DURION about an estimate for eligible hurricane mitigation improvements. Eligible homeowners apply through the official My Safe Florida Home program. Grant approval is required before work begins; only inspection-recommended, program-approved improvements qualify.
Eligible work may include opening protection, roof-to-wall attachments, roof-deck attachments and secondary water resistance. This program is separate from construction loans and roof financing. Check the official program for current eligibility, application status and funding information.
